“Sometimes you will never know the VALUE of a moment, until it becomes a memory”

— Dr. Suess

About me

Horses have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in rural Alaska, where working with horses meant learning through experience, patience, and determination. My family built a small herd of young horses, most of whom were just 2–4 years old when they came home. That meant I was responsible for much of their training, daily care, and problem-solving from an early age—experiences that shaped both my horsemanship and my work ethic.

As I gained experience, I competed through our local 4-H medals program before showing several horses on the AQHA and APHA open circuits. Those years gave me a deep understanding of the dedication, preparation, and partnership that go into every ride—an understanding that continues to influence my work behind the camera today.

For the past eight years, I have been a professional photographer, combining my passion for horses with my love for storytelling. I specialize in horse show photography, capturing everything from milestone wins to the quiet moments that often mean the most. I also work with businesses and entrepreneurs to create branding photography that helps them connect with their audience through authentic, high-quality imagery.

Today, I'm proud to call Southern Pines, North Carolina home, where I'm surrounded by one of the country's most vibrant equestrian communities. Whether I'm ringside at a horse show or creating custom branding content for a business, my goal is always the same: to create images that tell a story, preserve meaningful moments, and help my clients stand out.

My Mission.

I look back on those days and wish I had more pictures of me with my horses. They were the most important thing to me, my best friends, my partners… my escape. Now as an adult, I cherish all these photos and think about how cool it would have been to be able to get some beautiful photos of my horses and I now days!

As a Photographer, I hope to be able to provide young riders with those cherished memories and to create pieces of art for you and your family to enjoy for many many years. I know how much a photo can mean to someone, and I truly enjoy getting to be apart of that with my clients.
